Who we are

Carratelli Wine is the brand under which Carratelli Holding offers selected Italian wines to foreign importers and distributors. Our history can be divided into two periods:

2001
2018

In 2001, Carratelli s.r.l. was founded thanks to the idea of Cav. Giorgio Carratelli, who after 30 years as Sales Director in a well-known Tuscan wine company, decided to use his experience in the industry to introduce Tuscan wines to other states. Began offering wines from a number of wineries in Montalcino and Montepulciano, expanding the selection to the entire national scene over time.
In these years, Carratelli s.r.l. successfully accredits numerous wineries producing the famous Brunello, Chianti Classico, Nobile di Montepulciano, and the well-known and appreciated Sicilian wines not only in the U.S. but also in Germany and in multiple Italian retail chains.
Since 2011, it has been adding Liqueurs and Distillates to its product list, and since 2016 it has been making its entry into the Asian market by establishing numerous contacts with distributors from China, Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong to introduce Italian excellence to new territories

2019 – to date

In 2019, following the generational change and restructuring of the Group, Carratelli s.r.l. is transformed into Holding, passing the baton of wine marketing to the Carratelli Wine Srl, which inherits the portfolio of Italian and foreign importers and distributors, wineries, and know-how of its employees.
Despite the difficult years caused by the Pandemic, thanks to Gabriele Carratelli and Alessandro Bocci, the growth of Carratelli Wine is staggering. New horizons are opened, and as of today the USA, Poland, Brazil, China, Japan, Belgium, Holland, Germany, and Sweden are the main markets where the Company operates.
Starting from 2022, with the support of the new CEO, the Company makes a further leap in quality and quantity: it becomes structured by introducing new figures, continues to define important and exclusive contracts with the most important large-scale retail chains, and obtains significant distribution contracts with foreign importers, thus creating new prospects for the future
