Story and Evolution
2001 - 2018: the foundations of Carratelli Srl
Founded in 2001 by Cav. Giorgio Carratelli, former Sales Director of a renowned Tuscan winery, Carratelli Srl began its mission with the intent of promoting Tuscan wines internationally. Gradually expanding its offerings, the company included exceptional wines from Montalcino and Montepulciano, eventually embracing varieties from all over Italy. Over the years, it has gained a foothold not only in the United States but also in Germany and with numerous Italian distribution chains. The portfolio has been further enriched with liqueurs and spirits since 2011, and in 2016, the company successfully entered Asian markets, establishing important commercial relationships in China, Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong.
2019 - Present: The founding and growth of Carratelli Wine Srl
The transition from Carratelli Srl to Carratelli Holding in 2019 marked a new era, with the founding of Carratelli Wine Srl. This new entity inherited a vast portfolio of collaborations and deep expertise. Despite the challenges imposed by the pandemic, under the leadership of Gabriele Carratelli and Alessandro Bocci, the company has experienced extraordinary growth. Today, Carratelli Wine operates in markets including the United States, Brazil, Costa Rica, China, Japan, Germany, France, and many others. With the appointment of the new CEO, Marco Storai, in 2022, the company has made further progress by improving its organizational structure, signing exclusive contracts with major large-scale retail chains, and expanding its network of international distributors, opening up new and promising prospects for the future.
